This is an additional power switch installed in the kick base accessible from the front of the case. This is recommended when you plan to place your showcase with the back (clerk side) against a wall.

If positioned with the rear doors against a wall the display is still accessible through the lift up serving door. The on / off power switch, however, is located inside the sliding doors. The Convenience On/Off switch enables you to turn the power on or off (light and motion) without accessing the main power switch.
